Job Description

As a skilled maintenance professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of facilities at our esteemed nursing centre. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring all buildings and properties are well-maintained, including protection from potential damage or loss. Additionally, they will be responsible for safeguarding company assets, such as furniture, plant, and equipment, from any potential harm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage facility maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify areas requiring repair or maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver quality maintenance services that meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management, including maintenance, services, and upgrades.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to interpret and implement Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
  • Awareness of and commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and issues.
