Radiation Engineering Specialist for a World-Leading Observatory

Ventia invites experienced professionals to play a pivotal role in the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) Project, an internationally acclaimed endeavour that will become the world's largest and most advanced radio telescope.
This position involves overseeing Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), collaborating with various subcontractors and the project management team to implement project-specific management plans, including Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) protocols.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience as a Quality Advisor in major construction projects and a strong background in Mechanical or Structural Fabrication.
Key responsibilities include reviewing QA documents from subcontractors, arranging non-destructive testing (NDT) as required, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring quality between subcontractors and clients during various activities throughout the Project Lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant qualifications in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, and hold certified lead or internal auditor credentials in quality management systems.
