Job Opportunity: Senior Legal Expert

This permanent full-time role involves providing expert legal advice and support across multiple sites. The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director of Legal and Risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and provide direction to one Risk Specialist
  • Provide legal guidance on various legislation in respect of key risk exposures
  • Support compliance across all relevant legislative requirements within areas of responsibility
  • Coordinate responses to subpoenas and assist with claims management
  • Draft, review, and advise on a range of contracts
  • Work with the research office to review research contracts, including clinical trial agreements
  • Contribute to business opportunity evaluation and structuring with the Senior Leadership Team
About You:
  • At least 6 years' experience drafting, reviewing, and advising on contracts
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
  • Commercial acumen and ability to coordinate with stakeholders
  • Complex problem-solving skills
