Policy Officer Role Summary

As a Policy Officer at the NT Cattlemen's Association Incorporated, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Northern Territory's cattle industry. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough review and research to inform policy initiatives, drafting discussion papers, submissions, summaries, and other key documents.
  • Facilitate policy engagement with NTCA members, coordinating meetings, and ensuring a smooth flow of information between members and staff.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders, advocate NTCA policies to government and industry, and represent NTCA in various forums and events.
  • Contribute to submissions, policy briefs, and media opportunities that enhance NTCA's profile.
