We're a leading Australian restaurant chain with a strong commitment to community, sustainability, and great food. As an Area Manager at Grill'd, you'll play a key role in driving sales, maximising revenue and profit outcomes for our restaurants.

The Role:

You will be responsible for a portfolio of 8-10 restaurants, wearing multiple hats to drive sales, control costs, and achieve budgeted profits. Your focus will be on people development, talent hiring, retention, and training to support our growth plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Boost sales and control costs to achieve budgeted profits and maximise revenue.
  • People Development: Drive the entire people remit within your patch, including talent hiring, retention, and development, to support our growth plan.
  • Operations: Uphold the Grill'd experience through flawless operations and shift management.
  • Launch Support: Ensure successful launches for new restaurants by collaborating with key stakeholders and meeting targets.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in area management leading teams within the hospitality industry.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven commercial expertise in driving revenue growth within a multi-site environment.
  • People Leadership: Passionate and exceptional people leader with the ability to nurture top talent.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong knowledge of restaurant compliance, OH&S, and food safety.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
