We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Wildlife Officer, Environment and Science. As a key member of our conservation team, you will play a critical role in the management of wildlife and the protection of our natural environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Wildlife Management: Undertake tasks and provide advice related to the management of wildlife, including the safe capture, handling and husbandry, in accordance with legislation, policies and procedures.
  2. Field Operations: Undertake field operations and inspections, including the operation of equipment, site visits, and field monitoring and associated activities.
  3. Incident Response: Provide support for incident responses in relation to wildlife incidents, and communicate with and provide information to community groups, industry and the general public about wildlife management.
  4. Investigations and Compliance: Under the direction of senior staff, investigate complaints and auditing, compliance and enforcement activities relating to the take, use and keep of wildlife under relevant legislation.

As a Wildlife Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including community groups, industry and government agencies, to promote the conservation of wildlife and the protection of our natural environment.
