Telehealth Nurse Practitioner

About this role

As a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals across Australia. You will conduct virtual consultations via phone and video for general health concerns, chronic conditions, and acute presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual consultations with patients, assessing their needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide prescriptions, referrals, pathology requests, and ongoing treatment plans as needed.
  • Review structured patient histories before consultations to improve clinical efficiency.
  • Carry out follow-ups and long-term care management, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Support a diverse patient base, including individuals in regional and remote areas who may have limited access to in-person care.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Medicare Provider Number eligibility to claim, refer, and request services.
  • Proficiency with digital patient management software (telehealth experience preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time effectively.
