Job Title: Email Marketing Specialist

As a highly skilled email marketing professional, you will play a crucial role in driving traffic and generating leads for our organization through effective email campaigns. This position requires strategic thinking, creativity, and expertise in digital marketing to craft and deliver compelling emails that engage and convert.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on crafting compelling stories, building journeys, launching tests, and learning from results. You will work closely with the marketing team to define KPIs and interpret performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, create, and schedule promotional email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Manage day-to-day activities related to automated email campaigns, including list hygiene, segmentation, and syncing with Salesforce CRM.
  • Optimise automation flows based on performance and user behavior.
  • Segment and target audiences using SFMC tools, such as Automation Studio and Email Studio.
  • Develop A/B and multivariate testing plans for subject lines, email content, CTAs, send times, and journeys.
  • Analyse campaign performance metrics to draw actionable insights.
  • Design and build email templates using SFMC's content builder.
  • Ensure compliance with email best practices, including deliverability and unsubscribe policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in email marketing or digital media, preferably in-house or agency settings.
  • Strong expertise in using SFMC, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Content Builder.
  • A thorough understanding of all facets of email marketing, from list health and deliverability to creative implementation and automation.
  • Excellent copywriting skills, including writing compelling subject lines and creating engaging email content.
  • Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around metrics, specifically A/B testing and ROI analysis.
  • Ability to collaborate on content and creative with the marketing team.
  • Demonstrated experience running complex, multi-step journeys and A/B testing.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Media, or Journalism are desirable.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience working in education, e-commerce, or B2C services spaces.
  • Knowledge of SQL for SFMC or dynamic content scripting.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and its integration with SFMC.
