Financial Crime Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Prevention Specialist to join our team.

This role is critical in protecting our organization from financial crime and the risks of money laundering and terrorist financing.

  • Investigate and monitor suspicious customer accounts and transactions to identify potential or actual cases of money laundering and terrorism financing (ML & TF).
  • Utilize blockchain analysis technology to review incoming and outgoing crypto risk exposure.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Crime Team to proactively identify and prevent financial crime while continuously improving processes and mitigating potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct investigations and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Develop and maintain effective detection rules to ensure efficient and accurate alert volumes.
  • Communicate with customers regarding compliance issues.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, such as banks and law enforcement agencies.
  • Support the implementation of AML initiatives across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of investigations and reporting for audit and regulatory purposes.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment, preferably in a financial or regulatory context.
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
