Financial Crime Investigator

We are seeking a skilled Financial Crime Investigator to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Crime and Enterprise Services Department, you will play a critical role in preventing, detecting, and investigating fraud and scams impacting our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and experience in case investigation techniques. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality financial crime investigations and timely outcomes, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial crime investigations following established processes.
  • Manage a workload of financial crime cases with empathy, confidence, and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls related to fraud and scam events.
  • Record all reports, case evidence, and communications accurately.
  • Investigate payment/system alerts for potential fraud and scams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience or exposure to case investigation techniques, including evidence management and presentation.
  • Minimum 1+ years' experience in the financial services industry or a similar role.
  • Customer service experience and relevant industry qualifications or studies.
  • Strong negotiation, planning, organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
