Job Title: Acute Aged Care Senior Social Worker
">- Clinical Leadership: As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-level clinical services to patients and clients with complex needs. You will be responsible for providing direct therapeutic interventions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to improve patient experiences and outcomes, and service development.
About the Role: The Senior Social Worker will work as part of a dynamic team that offers a broad range of systemic interventions to older people, families and carers. This position involves direct therapeutic interventions, consulting with internal and external stakeholders, and service development.
">- Clinical Expertise: Providing clinical services to patient/client/consumer groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills and operate independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision and support to Level 1/2 Social Workers, Allied Health Assistants & students on clinical placement as required.
- Quality Improvement: Involvement in the planning, implementation and evaluation of services, development and leading of quality improvement activities and research with appropriate stakeholders.
About You: Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership with Australian Association of Social Work (AASW), well-developed time management skills, written and verbal communication, and IT skills including an ability or willingness to use telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.
