Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in regional communities.

The Senior Social Worker will provide clinical services to patient/client/consumer groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills and operate independently with minimal direct supervision.

  • Provide clinical supervision and support to Level 1/2 Social Workers, Allied Health Assistants & students on clinical placement as required.
  • Involvement in the planning, implementation and evaluation of services, development and leading of quality improvement activities and research with appropriate stakeholders.

The Senior Social Worker is part of a team which offers a broad range of systemic interventions to older people, families and carers. This position will involve direct therapeutic interventions, coordinating and consulting with internal and external stakeholders to improve patients experiences and outcomes, and service development.

About You
  • A degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership with Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
  • Well-developed time management skills, written and verbal communication, and IT skills including an ability or willingness to use telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.
  • Please note that you must hold Australian working rights to be considered for this role.
