Procurement Business Partner

The role of Procurement Business Partner is pivotal in leading end-to-end procurement activities across diverse portfolios.

  • To succeed in this position, you will develop and manage procurement plans and documentation tailored to stakeholder needs and service objectives.
  • You will lead tendering processes, requests for quotes, and panel access while ensuring compliance with policies and legislative requirements.
  • A key aspect of the role involves providing expert advice, training, and support to internal teams on procurement procedures, risk management, and best practices.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes is crucial.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders is essential in designing innovative supply solutions that deliver value for money and support service delivery.

Requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, law, commerce, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a procurement role within a government environment.
  • Proven ability to manage tender and quotation processes from preparation through to administration.
  • A strong understanding of procurement legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in contract administration and supplier performance monitoring, with sound risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, deliver training, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
