Project Coordination Manager

The Project Coordination Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction and project management initiatives. This position works closely with the Project Manager to oversee and lead civil and SMP scopes of work, guaranteeing site works are completed safely, on time, and to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Engineering function, procuring project equipment and materials as needed.
  • Ensure the safety of work crews and compliance with legislative guidelines, company procedures, policies, and project Health and Safety Management Plans.
  • Assist the Project Manager with managing project schedules, progress, and budgets, including initiating remedial actions when necessary.
  • Timely submission of contractual notices, including variations, claims, and extensions of time.
  • Support the Project Manager in creating accurate weekly dashboards addressing actual costings, accruals, schedule progress, milestone status, and quantitative charts.
  • Participate actively in leadership engagement initiatives and engage in monthly meetings to discuss, generate, and refresh HSES and company initiatives.
  • Review and update project resource plans and schedules for all resources on a weekly basis at a 12-week look-ahead.
  • Provide ongoing training and awareness programs for all project staff to ensure full understanding of corporate and project administration processes.
  • Audit preparation of subcontract and supply agreements to ensure consistency with the Head Contract and project requirements.
  • Identify change control impact, prepare reports, and monitor processes consistently.
  • Perform other general duties as necessary to meet operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • Excellent project coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of construction and project management principles.
