Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Train Operations Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the testing and validation of our trains to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to train operators and maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in train operations, testing, and validation, preferably in the rail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards, including OSHA and FRA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to improve safety and efficiency.
