Role Summary:

We are on the lookout for a motivated individual with a strong interest in technology and exceptional interpersonal abilities to support our expanding team in Sydney. This internship is part-time (3 days a week for a minimum of 6 months) and is designed for those who have prior experience in marketing and event management, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for the tech industry. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the execution of events across the ANZ and Asia regions, including both third-party and proprietary events, whether virtual or in-person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the marketing team in executing Contentsquare's events in the APAC region from inception to completion, contributing to both internal and external events.
  • Engage in the comprehensive campaign process, which includes email marketing, social media strategies, and effective follow-up and nurturing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global teams to implement a successful event marketing strategy and communication plan.
  • Conduct research and finalize decisions regarding venues, suppliers, entertainment, design, and production for in-person events.
  • Support the management of logistics for virtual and in-person events on the day of the event.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal departments, including Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Experience.

Candidate Profile:

  • Currently enrolled as a student.
  • Experience in organizing and managing events.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks for multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills, personable demeanor, and confidence in engaging with senior personnel both in-person and over the phone.
  • Proficient copywriting skills with experience in creating compelling marketing materials.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Hubspot (or similar marketing automation tools) is advantageous.
  • Thrives in a dynamic startup environment, contributing innovative ideas.
