About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Strategist to lead our centralized procurement function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sourcing and procurement system that supports our fast-growing and evolving business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a strategic sourcing and procurement system across the entire organization to support business growth and efficiency.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities.
  • Oversee the vendor management system to ensure efficient information sharing and accessibility.
  • Optimize supplier setup processes, purchase order management, and payment approaches in collaboration with Finance Control.
  • Implement robust supplier due diligence and reporting processes to support sustainability targets.
  • Develop automated reporting frameworks and tools to streamline analysis and reporting processes.
  • Track and report on the optimization of benefits delivered using data visualization tools and dashboard reporting.
  • Establish strong governance and control frameworks for procurement and vendor management processes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities and supplier relationships.
  • Lead a team providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Manage resource allocation and prioritize projects based on strategic priorities and business needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive leadership experience in strategic sourcing, procurement management, or a related field in a complex, matrix-style organization.
  • Solid understanding of risk governance principles, strategic sourcing practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Robust understanding of IT ecosystems, supplier landscapes, and their operation.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.
