About the Role:
HUB24 is seeking an experienced Procurement Strategist to lead the development and implementation of a centralized procurement function. This is a key role that will drive strategic sourcing, procurement management, and vendor management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sourcing and procurement system to support the company's growth and evolution.
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities.
- Oversee the vendor management system to ensure efficient information sharing and Group accessibility.
- Optimize supplier setup processes, purchase order management, and payment approaches in collaboration with Finance Control.
- Implement robust supplier due diligence and reporting processes to support sustainability targets.
- Develop automated reporting frameworks and tools to streamline analysis and reporting processes.
- Track and report on the optimization of benefits delivered using data visualization tools and dashboard reporting.
- Establish strong governance and control frameworks for procurement and vendor management processes.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities and supplier relationships.
- Lead a team providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Manage resource allocation and prioritize projects based on strategic priorities and business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
- Extensive leadership experience in strategic sourcing, procurement management, or a related field in a complex, matrix-style organization.
- Solid understanding of risk governance principles, strategic sourcing practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Robust understanding of IT ecosystems, supplier landscapes, and their operation.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.
