We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist to join our Sydney team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key categories of operating supplies across Australia and New Zealand, overseeing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, leading the implementation of global initiatives, and providing local market insights.
The Role Involves:- Category management, focusing on delivering exceptional value to customers through innovative and practical solutions.
- Effective supplier management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in sourcing and procurement processes.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in systems such as SAP or WMS, and knowledge of broader procurement systems.
- Experience in procurement/category management, ideally within the quick service restaurant or fast-moving consumer goods sector.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on business growth and revenue generation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- A proven track record of success in similar roles, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
