Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Melbourne.

  • Oversee and manage both preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement a site-specific maintenance strategy, planning and scheduling tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Act as the owner of the site's SAP-based system, ensuring accurate asset records and maintenance history.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance operations and lead weekly planning meetings with production teams to align maintenance schedules with operational demands.

This role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline) and minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance engineering role. Experience with SAP or similar CMMS platforms is also required.

A strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance is essential for this position. Additionally, proven ability to manage contractors and maintenance budgets, familiarity with safety compliance and regulatory standards, and excellent communication and coordination skills are required.
