Job Summary

This role involves performing maintenance tasks on various machinery, including moulding equipment, conveyor systems and vacuum systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Maintenance activities include fault finding, stripping and rebuilding, hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting electrical tasks such as fault finding, swapping like-for-like components and reading diagrams.
  • Additionally, the person in this position will respond to breakdowns and work on planned maintenance activities.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognised engineering qualification is essential.
  • The ability to work as part of a team but also independently is critical.
  • Confidence working mechanically and electrically in high-pressure scenarios is necessary.
  • Experience in the field of engineering is preferred.
