Electrical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Specialist to fill a full-time position that offers diverse equipment exposure and challenges.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working with electrical systems and machinery. As an Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment through preventative and general maintenance. You will also diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments and possess strong fault diagnosis and problem-solving abilities. You will also need hands-on experience in low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) systems.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be capable of working autonomously and as part of a team. You will demonstrate leadership qualities and a strong mechanical aptitude. Your reliability, safety-conscious attitude, and strong work ethic will ensure the efficient running of plant equipment.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Australian recognized Electrical trade qualification.
  • Victorian A Grade Electrical License.
  • Hands-on experience in PLC fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Ability to work across all shifts.

You will also need to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. If you have Forklift, confined space, EWP, and switching certifications, these will be highly regarded but not essential.
