Industrial Electrical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team on either our Afternoon or Night shift. In this role, you will carry out breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance and installations across automated production lines.

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on PLC-controlled machinery using strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Assist with installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new plant and equipment to improve line efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintain compliance with electrical safety standards and site-specific safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and automation teams to resolve breakdowns and improve production output.
  • Complete maintenance records and reporting using CMMS systems for accurate tracking and analysis.
Requirements:
  • A-Grade Electrical license with minimum 3 years' experience in the food manufacturing industry in an Electrical, Electromechanical or Dual Trade position.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming, as well as ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and preventative maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance.
Benefits:

This is a permanent, full-time position offering salary up to $125,000 + Super. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday on afternoon or night shifts.
