Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management.

This role involves involvement in inventory stocktakes to ensure accurate reporting, performing general ledger reconciliations, and preparing appropriate journals.

You will also be responsible for BAS returns, including GST compliance, as well as managing capital expenditure requests and lease applications.

Additionally, you will provide support with the annual Group audit and prepare and lodge ABS surveys.

We are looking for a candidate who has a completed or near-completed degree in Accounting or a related field and is able to work full-time in the Bundaberg office.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A completed or near-completed degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is a plus.
