Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct budget forecasting and variance analysis to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to optimise financial processes and outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
  • Assist in developing long-term financial strategies for the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • A thorough understanding of accounting principles and public sector regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to present financial insights to stakeholders.
