Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team and help us design and execute an integrated communications plan for our organisation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of distilling complex negotiation points into clear and concise messages, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely communication, and proactively addressing employee concerns through the appropriate channels.

This is a temporary full-time role that will see you working closely with our team to achieve our organisational objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute an integrated communications plan that aligns with our organisational messaging and objectives
  • Distil complex negotiation points into clear and concise messages for diverse groups
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely communication
  • Proactively address employee concerns through the appropriate channels
  • Monitor and respond to media coverage

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Media, Public Relations, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to diverse groups
  • Detailed understanding of communication channels and strategies to efficiently deliver key messages
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with competing priorities
