We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Export Control Officer.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires strong expertise in export control legislation and policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting and implementing relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with Defence Projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and implement export control legislation and policy.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, instructions, and registers.
  • Manage key stakeholder expectations and requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement legislation and policy relevant to Defence Projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in actively managing key stakeholder expectations and requirements.
  • Ability to develop and maintain Project Plans, Instructions, and Registers.
  • Experience with records and information management, preferably in a Defence environment.
  • Working with limited guidance, demonstrating initiative and responsibility.
Qualifications
  • Security Clearance at NV1.
