Job Title:

Building Services Manager


We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to lead the implementation of our building engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive building services strategy, encompassing analysis, design, development, and deployment of building services across our property portfolio.

  2. Lead complex feasibility studies for priority assets, identifying cost-effective engineering solutions that add value for customers and commercial opportunities.

  3. Manage scoping and budgeting, oversee projects from design to completion, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success.

  4. Ensure compliance with workplace HSE obligations and mandatory training, promoting a safe environment for all personnel.

  5. Engage in professional development and mentorship opportunities, driving innovation and best practice within the team.

  6. Potentially undertake higher duties, as the role evolves to meet the changing needs of the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Technical expertise in building engineering services, including interpretation of schematics and standards.

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, planning, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Experience in capacity planning, project ownership, budgeting, and cost estimation for design and construct activities.

Desirable:

  • Degree-level tertiary qualifications in engineering or related fields.

  • Additional qualifications in property or building services and relevant experience.

  • Skills in data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
