Due to rapid company growth, we now have a fresh opportunity for a new IT Infrastructure Lead to join our team, located at our Eagle Farm Head Office.

Reporting to the IT General Manager, this role is responsible for the management of maintenance, configurations and necessary updates of our internal IT networks and IT systems. You'll be leading and supporting all things hardware, databases, operating systems and applications while implementing process and infrastructure improvements.

As our IT Infrastructure Lead, you'll be responsible for:

The maintenance and upgrades of all IT Systems Configurations, reliability, networks (LAN & WAN), internal and external IT security as well as virtualization hypervisors (VMWare & HyperV)

Assisting with the management of cloud environments, including MOffice 365, AWS and third-party SaaS solutions

Network and device configuration of LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, remote access configurations and wireless access points

Maintaining internal infrastructure requirements – i.e. laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers etc.

Performing all backup operations and implement process for data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures

Contribute to IT Infrastructure design, planning and implantation following ITIL, ITSM and ISO security standards

In looking for our next top-talent, our ideal candidate will have:

Bachelor's degree in IT/System Administration or equivalent

5 years' experience of IT network, security or system administration experience – with a strong focus on IT Infrastructure management

Certifications in relevant System Administration, Microsoft or IT programs – i.e. Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Azure, Active Directory, Exchange etc.

In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with patch management strategist for both Windows Server environments and VMware Infrastructure

Highly proficient in configuring, managing and troubleshooting enterprise-grade firewalls, VPN's, IPS and complex routing and switching infrastructures

Proven professional and leadership attributes, including exceptional verbal and written communication skills, experience in developing and training a team, excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise effectively while meeting competing deadlines

Candidates who are successful at reaching the interview phase will be expected to demonstrate technical skills in a test environment.
