As a Protection Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding critical space operations.

Stellar Solutions is a leading provider of engineering solutions for innovative space companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with mission protection teams and other operations teams to ensure seamless ops planning
  • Lead site integration into Joint Planning Process (JP 5-0) forums and working groups
  • Organize site participation in exercises and wargames to enhance space operations and protection
  • Develop debriefs to improve space operations and protection
  • Collaborate with partners to enable protection decisions
  • Understand current and emerging threats with external SMEs
  • Deliver Mission Protection training
  • Manage schedules for meetings during non-standard hours
  • Identify risks and opportunities, providing analysis and recommendations
  • Review documents related to new capabilities and integration
  • Handle FK&C issues related to mission protection systems

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph and DOD SAP eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years relevant experience
  • Experience with JP 5-0, tactical and operational planning
