Electrical Solutions Specialist

The Opportunity

We seek an Electrical Engineer to partner with clients in delivering technical solutions to solve business problems.

This position will be based out of a Melbourne office.

About You

Apply as a degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with technical design and project management experience, undertaking projects for and on heavy industrial sites as well as Food and Lifesciences, and water sites with a passion for developing and building networks and client relationships.

You will be highly organised with effective communication skills and the ability to work within a larger project team to develop good engineering outcomes for the business and our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working across various electrical systems and equipment, from 11kV below.
  • Designing and developing instrumentation and electrical systems, including single-line diagrams; motor starter drawings; electrical layouts; instrument loop diagrams; cable schedules; PLC I/O schedules.
  • Project management, procurement, and commissioning for existing and greenfield systems.
  • Defining scope/requirements and procuring equipment, software, and installation work.
  • Detailed design contractual report writing & Construction related services.
  • Learning client's processes to gain an understanding of our client's business across a wide range of industries.
  • Building strong customer relationships and demonstrating your ability to understand our client's core business and ensure that services meet their expectations.
  • Providing implementation phase support, including contractor supervision, progress monitoring, schedule reviews, contract management, minor procurement assistance, and expediting.
  • Previous site experience will be well-regarded.
