Learning and Research Services Librarian

This is a full-time continuing position with a salary in the range of $89,000 to $96,000, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The role offers comprehensive services and advice to library clients while collaborating with colleagues across Learning and Research Services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, deliver, and evaluate information and digital literacy programs. Provide advice on research, research evaluation, and impact, including research data management.
- Develop, publish, and maintain library content in digital formats. Contribute to the evaluation and management of the library's collection, including learning resources.
- Provide advanced information and advice on library resources and UQ systems. Communicate proactively with clients. Participate in library projects and contribute effectively to the library team.
- Any other duties as reasonably directed by your supervisor.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with relevant qualifications for associate membership in the Australian Library and Information Association or equivalent experience in academic, research, or special libraries.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of current trends in research, learning, and teaching within academic institutions. They will possess substantial knowledge of information resources, including current tools and technologies used in academic libraries.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in delivering information services to support research, learning, and teaching, such as providing advice on search strategies and systematic reviews. They will also have the ability to provide client-focused advanced information assistance and information and digital literacy programs through a variety of flexible delivery options.
