About The RoleThis position involves delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities- Deliver occupational therapy services to clients in their homes
- Assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged-care clients in the community
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to improve client care and services
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate experience across aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings
- Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Alignment with values that promote dignity and respect for older Australians
