Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and publishing Flight Instructor and Student Rosters, monitoring operational status, and ensuring compliance with relevant aviation regulations.

About the Role:

  • Prepare and publish Flight Instructor and Student Rosters in compliance with CASA crew duty requirements and limitations
  • Monitor and report on the operational status of crews for roster preparation purposes
  • Oversight of crew currency, training, check, and licensing requirements to ensure operational status is maintained
  • Liaise with the Check and Training team for planning all training requirements during published/unpublished roster periods
  • Book ad-hoc flight, transport, and accommodation requirements as necessary
  • Communicate roster changes to crew members
  • Construct and publish Crew Tours of Duty while maximising crew utilisation and cost-efficiency
  • Manage Flight Instructor Annual Leave rosters
  • Assist with payroll and other administrative tasks when required
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Operations Manager

Requirements:

  • Initiate knowledge of CASA crew duty requirements and limitations
  • Previous experience in airline operations
  • Desirable experience with FlightPro
  • Previous experience interpreting Awards
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication and organisational/time management skills
  • Willingness to adapt to an evolving work environment

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary and conditions package. The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 AUD based on industry standards and location.
