The Role of a Data Acquisition Specialist.

About the Position:

As a key player in delivering frontline services, you will be responsible for supporting community safety and providing critical assistance to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in extracting data from digital devices and media
  • Provide evidence in affidavit form or personally in Courts or other Tribunals
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement processes related to digital evidence extraction
  • Identify and deliver training programs on best practices in digital evidence extraction
  • Support the development of innovative techniques to enhance Digital Evidence Hubs
  • Foster effective communication channels with diverse stakeholders and clients

The successful applicant must possess a valid Queensland drivers license and be able to handle sensitive information. They must also complete required internal courses to operate relevant equipment.

Requirements:
  • Mandatory: Possess a current Queensland class 'C' drivers license
  • Other: Ability to handle sensitive material and complete necessary internal courses
