Employment Consultant Role

This full time or part time position involves working with clients to support their career development and placement into employment opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a workplace rehabilitation setting, strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving skills, and excellent written & spoken English. A professional network within the local area would be highly regarded.

  • Use your recruitment and career development skills to support people with injuries return to work
  • Build relationships with employers and organisations to generate suitable vacancies for our clients
  • Engage in the local community to identify employment opportunities
  • Market subsidised programs to incentivise employers to consider our clients for employment
  • Meet face to face with clients to build their confidence and independence in job seeking skills
  • Liaise with and influence hiring managers on behalf of your clients
  • Assist clients with addressing key selection criteria
  • Prepare clients for interviews
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to help our clients find gainful and durable employment
