Steel Placement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Steel Placement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, experienced in placing structural steel into base plates, and able to work at heights using EWP.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance on site equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Fault find and diagnose mechanical issues
- Assist in rigging and dogging steel placements
- Support the installation of lightweight panelling
Requirements:
- Possession of a Rigger/Dogger Certificate
- A current White Card
- Ability and willingness to complete site inductions
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety standards
- Proactive approach to supporting the team
- Flexibility to work in a multi-skilled team environment with ability to work independently when required
About the Role:
- The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient placement of steel structures on site
- They will work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- The successful applicant will be highly motivated and able to work well under pressure
