Job Placement Specialist

At atWork Australia, we're committed to helping job seekers find sustainable employment and/or education. As a Job Coach/Employment Consultant, you play a vital role in this process.

  • Preparing job seekers for successful placement within the Workforce Australia program
  • Placing job seekers into long-term employment opportunities
  • Actively promoting job seekers to local and national employers, including building employer networks and vacant positions
  • Developing a strong understanding of local labour market needs and tailoring job seeker services accordingly

To excel in this position, you'll require:

  • Motivation and drive to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results
  • Ability to motivate and encourage job seekers to reach their full potential
  • Proven experience working with targets and key performance indicators
  • Effective management of a caseload and prioritization of tasks
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Previous experience in employment services is highly valued
