Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This is a full-time position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and taxation laws.
  • Implement effective financial processes and ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial data.
  • Process employee travel, expense claims, and manage corporate card programs.
  • Allocate customer cash receipts, monitor AR aging reports, resolve discrepancies, and manage customer credit limits.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of bookkeeping/accounting clerical experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel).
  • Experience in full-function accounts payable and receivable duties.
  • Strong task prioritisation skills.
