Senior Water Treatment Engineering Leader

We are seeking an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in water treatment to lead our team of experts and drive technical excellence across a range of projects.


About the Position

This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the design, commissioning, and delivery of complex water treatment systems, including membrane-based technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in process or chemical engineering and experience managing cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to multi-disciplinary engineering teams across multiple projects and geographies.
  • Oversee the design, commissioning, and delivery of water treatment systems including membrane-based technologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and safety in design.
  • Engage with clients, technology suppliers, and delivery partners to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Support business development activities by providing engineering input into tenders, proposals, and feasibility assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and engineering standards.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in engineering roles within the water sector.
  • Strong background in process or chemical engineering with exposure to membrane systems.
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering or technical teams.
  • Experience overseeing design, commissioning, and operational optimisation of treatment plants or similar systems.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with project managers, commercial teams, and external partners.
  • Chartered Engineer eligibility preferred.
