We're seeking a seasoned Technical Director to lead our engineering team.

Main Responsibilities
  • To take on complex engineering tasks, technical spikes, and platform upgrades
  • Refactor legacy components into modern, modular services
  • Lead proofs of concept for new approaches, such as cloud adoption, containerization, and platform decoupling
  • Support backend and service modernization, including messaging, observability, and performance tuning
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and developer experience as we transition towards more automated workflows
  • Contribute to the evolution of our architecture, including the adoption of event-driven patterns where they add value
Requirements
  • A degree in engineering or a related field — or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of professional development experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building internal and/or external web services
  • 3+ years writing clean, well-structured unit, integration, and component tests, with a strong grasp of the test pyramid
