About the Role

A strategic business partner is required to support a major data centre network remediation project. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical teams, IT operations, security groups, and clinical stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document requirements for the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and documentation reviews.
  • Identify current network pain points, technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and desired future state capabilities.
  • Analyse and translate complex technical remediation needs into clear business requirements documents.
  • Map and analyse current (as-is) and future (to-be) processes, data flows, and interdependencies.
  • Develop use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for network changes.
  • Foster collaboration between technical teams, project management, and business units through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Present findings to technical and executive audiences and obtain sign-off on requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate technical solutions against business needs.
  • Support vendor proposal evaluations for hardware, software, and professional services.
  • Contribute to test strategy development and review test cases to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Manage requirement changes, ensuring proper impact assessment and version control.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a business analyst, preferably in large-scale IT infrastructure or network projects.
  • Strong knowledge of data centre networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Routing/Switching, Virtualisation, and Cloud Connectivity.
  • Experience in network security and remediation projects is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, bridging technical and non-technical groups.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering methodologies, including workshops, interviews, and use cases.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries is an advantage.
