About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the Data Centre Network Remediation Project. The BA will work closely with network engineers, IT operations, security teams, and clinical stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document requirements that will shape the remediation of the existing data center environment.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Requirements Elicitation - Conduct workshops, interviews, and documentation reviews with technical and clinical stakeholders.
• Gather and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify current network pain points, technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and desired future state capabilities.
• Analysis & Documentation - Translate complex technical remediation needs into clear Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Technical Requirements Documents (TRD).
• Map and analyse current (as-is) and future (to-be) processes, data flows, and interdependencies.
• Develop use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for network changes.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication - Act as a liaison between technical teams, project management, and business/clinical units.
• Facilitate communication, obtain sign-off on requirements, and present findings to both technical and executive audiences.
• Solution Definition & Support - Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate technical solutions against business needs.
• Assist in vendor proposal evaluations for hardware, software, and professional services.
• Support test strategy development and review test cases to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Project Lifecycle Support - Contribute to project documentation, including the Project Initiation Document (PID).
• Manage requirement changes, ensuring proper impact assessment and version control.
• Assist project managers with planning, risk identification, and issue resolution.

Requirements and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on large-scale IT infrastructure or network projects.
• Strong knowledge of data centre networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Routing/Switching, Virtualisation, Cloud Connectivity).
• Experience in network security and remediation projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, bridging technical and non-technical groups.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering methodologies (workshops, interviews, use cases).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries (compliance, data privacy) is an advantage.
