Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Risk and Compliance Specialist.

This role involves partnering with the Front Office to identify, assess, and mitigate risks and compliance issues. You will provide expert advice and support to Advisers, Associate Advisers, and Associates, Heads of Advisory, Front Office Risk Manager(s), and Regional Managers for Advisory Performance.

  • Monitor and manage business risks and compliance obligations, reviewing, advising, and challenging related issues, strategy, and BAU with a client-aware risk and compliance lens.
  • Oversee and support the implementation of related controls to manage and mitigate risks while meeting business obligations.

You will foster effective relationships with key stakeholders to promote a strong culture of risk and compliance awareness, oversight, ownership, and management.

Assist in understanding and implementing risk, compliance, and controls frameworks required by regulatory bodies and industry standards.

  • Develop, maintain, and regularly review:
    • Risk and compliance objectives and priorities.
    • Accountabilities and responsibilities.
    • Training, education, and awareness campaigns.
    • Supervisory processes and R&C oversight activity.
    • Reporting requirements.

Liaise with the Legal team to monitor regulatory changes impacting the business units and ensure timely implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
