Warehouse Operations Assistant

As a key team member at our bulk container deposit scheme site in Dubbo, you will assist in collecting, sorting, and storage of recyclable drink containers. On the job training in using specialized equipment will be provided.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery for efficient sorting of recyclable materials
  • Use forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containers
  • Operate point of sale system for accurate sales and refund transactions
  • Contribute to other activities such as housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse equipment
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Experience in operating forklifts with a current valid license
  • Previous experience working within a warehouse and/or production environment
  • Capacity to perform manual/physical tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
  • Thorough understanding of workplace health and safety requirements within a warehouse setting
