Operations Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable professional to fill the role of Operations Manager at our foodservice branch in Dubbo.

This senior position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehousing and distribution operations, including monitoring expenses related to transport, equipment, and the warehouse. This is a physical role with some heavy lifting required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage transport, equipment, and warehouse expenses, including rosters and wages
  • Promote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered to
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment service and maintenance schedules
  • Coach, mentor, and execute performance management as required
  • Conduct internal audits of quality and HACCP-based food systems
  • Generate, analyze, and maintain reports
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A current forklift license is essential
  • Excellent communication, organization, and managerial skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a diverse team
  • Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
  • Leadership and motivation skills to manage a team of up to 30 workers
