About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to join our team at H&M Group. As a key member of our sales leadership, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and follow up on sales and profit KPIs for your department, working closely with visual merchandisers to maximise sales.
  • Drive the Hello Member program in line with country goals, excluding New Zealand ads.
  • Ensure your department meets H&M standards by using the Customer Experience Tool and collaborating with your visual team to implement the Commercial Handbook.
  • Evaluate and manage the performance of your team, providing regular feedback, executing performance development reviews, and developing plans to improve performance.

To be successful in this role, you should have a positive, inclusive, and creative leadership style. You should enjoy being on the shop floor with colleagues and customers, and have a desire to learn and grow. Your commercial mindset and coaching approach will enable you to motivate your team and drive results.

Requirements
  • A customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience analysing commercial reports and formulating plans to maximise sales.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks based on the needs of our fast-paced business.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to delegate, follow up, and provide straightforward feedback to coach and develop your team.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of around $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including a staff discount card, we also offer extensive development opportunities across the globe.
