
HR Support Specialist

Key responsibilities of the position include providing support with all payroll matters and the HR Services team, working collaboratively across different sections of Council, thinking and solving problems that arise within payroll and HR, and using Council systems confidently.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to work across a range of human resources functions, have demonstrated experience in payroll processing, accurately process data under tight timeframes, research and evaluate end user information requirements, develop suggestions to assist the team improve processes and systems, and administer human resource management information and/or payroll systems.
The successful candidate will meet strict deadlines and achieve performance objectives with supervision. They will also have the ability to think critically and solve complex problems, work effectively in a team environment, and communicate clearly and concisely.
