Job Title: Payroll and HR Support Officer

This is a temporary part-time opportunity to join the team as a Payroll and HR Support Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with all Payroll matters and the HR Services team.
  • Work collaboratively across different sections of Council, think and solve problems that arise within payroll and HR, and show confidence in the usage of systems.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work across a range of Human Resources functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and/or demonstrated ability to accurately process data under tight timeframes.
  • Demonstrated sound ability to research, evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate suggestions to assist the team improve processes and systems.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of and administration of human resource management information and/or payroll systems.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and achieve performance objectives with supervision.
