Here at Achmea Australia, our motto is **'Keep Farmers Farming'**. Our goal is to support local farmers when they need it most. We are seeking a motivated professional to fill the role of Farm Insurance Specialist.

As the face of the organisation, you will be meeting with clients in person and responsible for risk assessments and offering insurance solutions to suit their needs. This sales role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships within the community.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new client prospects, visiting clients, and offering risk and general insurance solutions
  • Building and servicing a profitable portfolio of clients, increasing footprint and market share
  • Converting prospects into satisfied clients
  • Offering risk and general insurance solutions to clients
  • Performing risk analysis and assessing underwriting risks
  • Preparing policy quotes within underwriting guidelines
  • Organising local events and marketing activities within the community

A successful candidate will have:

  • Strong motivation and results-driven work ethic
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships within the community
  • Valid driver's license
  • RG146 certification preferred but not essential
